Permed hair. Its a fact that perming hair means stress for your hair. Since we can not participate in perming your hair, we would like you to understand what happens while your hair is permed and how you can best treat it. Even though, perming products are by far better than years ago, it is still the same chemical process. The internal structure of the hair will be dissolved before it is put together again in the new curled pattern. During this process some of the sulfur-bindings will not be connected again. As more often you perm the same strand of hair, as less sulfur-connections will be left. This is, very simplified, responsible for your stressed, damaged hair. But there is no reason for resignation.

We strongly recommend, that you should condition and repair your hair to the best extend before perming it, instead of drowning it with conditioners afterwards. In addition you will achieve a much better end evenly curled hair, perming it, when the internal structure of your hair isn't too different.
